Installation:
1. Keep the tailgate door open on max height and remove inner trim panel.
2. Unplug the plug, use tools to loose the old spherical joint and insert new one.
3. Plug the liftgate plug and recover the inner trim panel.
4. Use diagnostic scanner to clear error code, just use scanner to clear if show negative/occasional; replace the lift struts if show permanent.
5. Confirm the L/R mark on struts before install it on your tailgate.

Notes:
Always replace the left and right sides in pairs to avoid uneven stress that could deform the tailgate or overload the motor.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before replacement to prevent short circuits and motor burnout.
