How to use the antifreeze refractometer:
  • 1. Open the cover and gently wipe the detection prism with a soft cloth;
  • 2. Take a few drops of the solution to be tested, place them on the detection prism, gently close the cover to avoid the formation of air bubbles, let the solution spread over the surface of the prism, and place the instrument in the light plate ;
  • 3. Aim at the light source or a bright place, observe the field of view through the eyepiece, and rotate the eyepiece to adjust the hand wheel.
  • 4. Make the blue-white dividing line of the field of view clear. The scale value of the dividing line is the concentration of the solution.
 
Notes:
  • 1.The multifunctional freezing point meter can not measure the freezing point of methanol antifreeze and methanol glass water.
  • 2.Use with care and caution, strictly following the instructions. Do not loosen any connections or allow impacts. Severe vibration is strictly prohibited.
  • 3.After use, do not immerse the instrument directly in water for cleaning. Wipe with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid scratching or damaging the optical surfaces.
  • 4.Store the instrument in a dry place free from corrosive gases. Prevent loss of spare parts.
  • 5.Do not forcefully tighten the eyepiece or adjust it back and forth. If it cannot be adjusted, adjust it in the opposite direction!
